So, you want to be a video game hero? There are several guidelines, rules, and tips to help you on your way! This book will guide you down the path of heroism
This helpful list will help you find your way to great heroism and fame.
Note: This list is most applicable for RPG heroes, but will work well for other forms of heroes as well.
1. Use a sword. Don't worry about your world, or level of technology. The sword will be accepted no matter what. Your sword is your friend. Your sword is more powerful than anything technology throws at you.
2. On the topic of swords. It's a good idea to start with a wooden sword. While this is not necessary, it can still help you on your path to heroism.
3. Have a childhood friend. This friend will be a stalwart companion and shall remain loyal (exceptions have been known, but they are rare).
4. One of your female party member
In Between AdventuresIn Between Adventures
There is a place, a place between dimensions. There is a lobby with a large roaring fire and several cushy armchairs scattered about the room. A dark wood door on one side leads to a restaurant. Here, there are many round tables and another fireplace. There is a comfortable, cosy and safe feel to these rooms. Smells of cooking waft from the kitchen, cutlery gently clatters and clinks. Voices talk amiably. This is where the heroes and villains gather.
Link, Chrono, Kirby and Isaac are gathered around a table eating silently. Every now and then there is an occasional nod.
Colette: (standing beside Raine) Professor? How come those four are so quiet? They're eating together, but I haven't heard any of them speak.
Raine: They're heroes.
Colette: I don't understand Lloyd is a hero.
Raine: Some heroes lack the ability to speak.
Tales of Bloopers: Part TwoTales of Bloopers
SPOILORS If you haven't played Tales of Symphonia or Abyss you probably shouldn't read unless you don't care. Here's part two of Tales of Bloopers because my mind is a weird place and I had more ideas. Also some of the characters didn't get enough play in part one.
Scene: Origin's Seal. Kratos is collapsed in Yuan's arms. Lloyd is standing over them.
Kratos: Looks like I've failed to die once more.
Lloyd: You stupid jerk! You can die anytime! But when you die, that's the end.
Yuan: You want him to live in eternal damnation?
Lloyd: Who said anything like that?! What will you accomplish by dying? Nothing! There is no meaning in dying. Listen, (Lloyd starts to sing)
Life isn't bliss, life is just this, it's living.
You'll get along,
The pain that you feel, you only can heal by living.
You have to go on living
Director: Cut! Lloyd, you're starting
Tales of BloopersTales of Bloopers
This will be done play style. I think that will suit this better than trying to do it in a more normal way. A series of bloopers made by the characters of Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia as if they were actors. Spoilers! If you haven't played these games, don't read unless you don't care.
So, here is Tales of Bloopers.
Scene: Altessa's house. Kratos is standing with Yuan and the Renegades. Lloyd is at the door.
Director: And, Action!
Kratos: Lloyd, I am your father.
Yuan: Wait, wasn't I supposed to be the one saying something ?
Lloyd: Dwarven vow number uh something Justice and love no, it wasn't that one uh
Director: Cut! Try that again.
Lloyd: Dwarven vow number 7 Work together for a peaceful world crap, wrong number wasn't it?
Director: Cut! Come on Lloyd there isn't that ma

Justin sat in an armchair gazing out the window, but not really seeing anything. He was lost in thought-his mind wandering to the events of the last few days.
The trio stood on a field not far from the river. Justin looked sideways at Fina. She was looking dead ahead and stood stiffly. He could feel her nervousness, though she was doing everything she could to conceal it.
"They're coming," Lareth said quietly. His hand fell to his sword and Justin saw him tense. "That's more than expected Do we want to go through with this?" He grimaced. "I believe we may have been given false information "
"We can end this," Fina hissed.
"I just wanted to make sure we were still in agreement."
"This seems needlessly foolish, and suicidal," Justin said quietly. "We have time to leave we should take advantage of it."
"No," Fina glared furiously at Justin.
"We may still be able
Pain. That was the first thing he knew. And, then voices. Words they were slowly entering his brain, and even more slowly making any kind of sense.
"Careful, now " A woman-seemed familiar
"I know " A man-did he know these voices?
"I-I can't believe "
He tried to open his eyes, but as soon as they were opened even a crack, light pierced them painfully. He shut them tightly.
"He's waking up!" The woman again.
"Lareth," the man said tentatively.
Lareth that was his name, wasn't it? He made an attempt at saying something, anything really, but his throat was parched and painful.
"You should dim the light," the woman suggested.
There was silence, and then the man spoke. "Lareth? Are you awake?"
Lareth tried opening his eyes again. He was lying on a bed in a dim room. A man and woman were standing on each side. Beyond that he knew nothing.
The History of Guy: Ch.3The History of Count Gailardia
Gailardia hurried down the hall, his head bowed when he suddenly ran into someone. He looked up and saw a tall man in blue with longish brown hair. The man looked down at him with a raised eyebrow. Gailardia swallowed hard. The man had red eyes behind those glasses.
"Um I-I'm sorry."
"Not at all. I suppose I should have been keeping a better eye out for charging children." He sounded amused and not at all annoyed. Gailardia relaxed somewhat. "Might I ask where you are going in such a hurry?" The man appeared to be examining him. He frowned slightly. "You look upset."
Gailardia stared at his feet. "I'm okay " Gailardia looked around at the floor feeling awkward. "I'm just looking for something to do, is all my friend, Van he well he something's being done to him, I think, so I can't play with
The History of Guy: Ch.TwoThe History of Count Gailardia
Gailardia slouched his way through the corridors. He was bored and wanted to visit Van despite Mary's warnings. He stopped abruptly and turned back the way he came. If no one knew, he wouldn't get into trouble. He took a side hall and walked quickly to the training room that Van often occupied when he wasn't being trained in his duties. He pushed open the door and grinned with delight when he saw his friend sitting on a bench at the opposite end. He bounded over.
Van looked up. His dark hair hung around his face and he looked sick.
"Va-an. Please don't call me that. You're my friend." Gailardia's grin slid off his face. "You look sick. You're not sick, are you?"
Van shook his head. "N-no No." He said more firmly. Gailardia's grin came back.
"Hey, do you think yo
