Tales of Fantasy Flash Site

Description

This was our final project for one my classes. We had to make a flash site and I chose to do one that would promote a video game, so I pretended that Tales of Fantasy was a game coming out and made a site for it. This was my first time using Flash for a project.

I'm not overly thrilled with the clouds but I wanted something animated on the home page.

On the character page, the characters themselves are the buttons for finding more about each one.

The images in the gallery are thumbnails and can be clicked for larger images.

There is a sound button in the corner but I wasn't able to get it to work, and the music I used for school wasn't my own, so I removed it for use here.

Everything except the 3DS logo and the ESRB logo belong to me.

EDIT: At some point the file here was screwed up, so I'd uploaded it again, but I'd uploaded the wrong file, so I've had an incomplete version sitting here. I've replaced that file with a new one that has had some new changes made: indicator of which page the user is on, moving clouds on the home page and the necklace glows a bit.

Hey! Looks like you were able to get it upon dA afterall, yay!

Rolloevers work nicely, I especially love what you went and did there with the character page for that. Works perfectly, and you can see them actually doing something like that in game when you want to go and interact with one of the characters. The same with the animated clouds on the homepage, it's as though the game intro just finished loading and you're at the starting screen.

The grainy images on the story page are do help them feel as though part of the book, though I think the text needs something to make them more grainy too or perhaps faded. Nice work on the gallery page, included the ability to click on an image and see them enlarged all on the same page. Can see you really put a lot of what you learned about flash in here.
